Extra Curricular - Character academy

The Character Academy at Haybridge is integral to ‘what we do’ here at Haybridge. While we are proud of the academic achievements of our students, we also aim to provide a varied enrichment programme with a variety of extra-curricular clubs to nurture the talents of our students outside of the classroom.

We offer access to a wide variety of activities, including residential trips, cultural visits, the opportunity to learn new skills and a chance to meet and hear from fascinating and inspiring visiting speakers. These are the kinds of experiences and opportunities that will create lasting memories of school: memories of belonging to a team, of seeing the world in new ways, of having fun whilst students develop their place in the world alongside their friends.

The Character Academy is all about supporting students’ personal development through team work, resilience, leadership and positive challenges. We want all of our students to be able to access the best of human thought and creativity so that they can graduate from our school as ethical, informed citizens ready to take on the diverse challenges ahead.

Our diverse extra-curricular offer includes the opportunity for all our students to be involved with sporting clubs, drama, music and Duke of Edinburgh.
