The Local Academy Board
The Local Academy Board (LAB) form the local tier of the Trust’s governance structure. They are a committee of the Trust Board.
The LAB Governor role is to provide Trustees with the assurance of the quality, compliance and efficacy of the four ‘S’s’ at a local level:
- Safeguarding
- SEND (and inclusion)
- Standards
- Stakeholder voice
The LAB have delegated responsibilities:
- To provide assurance to Trustees that the Trust is having an impact on their school by gaining an in-depth knowledge of their school’s standards, strengths and weaknesses.
- To build and maintain links with stakeholders, including student and staff voice, parental and community engagement.
- To support and work with school leaders and the Central Trust Team to ensure safeguarding, SEND and support of vulnerable students is effective and complies with the required standards.
The LAB of Haybridge High School and Sixth Form is comprised of the following governors:
