Haybridge Sixth Form Open Morning – Saturday, 11 January- Book a time

Sixth Form Open Evening – Wednesday 15th October 2025 (no pre-registration is required)

Haybridge is open today Wednesday 20th November for all year groups.

Students and staff must take great care when making their way to school as after the recent snowfall roads and pavements may be a cause for concern and should only be travelled if families and individuals consider it safe to do so in their particular circumstances.

Please report any absences in the usual way.

Our last communication from the school transport companies suggested that they are running a normal service and they have yet to make us aware of any changes or cancellation to services.

PTFA

(Parents/Carers, Teachers, Friends Association)

Do you want to make a real difference? Join the team behind the scenes
making Haybridge High School and Sixth Form even better.

The PTFA isn’t just another parent/carer group – we’re a brilliant bunch of parents, carers, teachers, support staff and friends who roll up our sleeves to create memorable experiences and raise funds for the equipment and opportunities that make our school exceptional.

From running the bar at concerts to organising our legendary Annual Quiz, we’re the people who turn ordinary school events into something special. And we’d love you to join us!

What We Do

We’re constantly finding creative ways to support our school community and raise funds for equipment that enhances every student’s experience, from specialist pens and laptops for SEN students, to new furniture for the Quad.

Here are just some of the ways we make it happen:

  • Regular uniform sales. Because growing teenagers always need the next size up, and why not save money on quality uniform while supporting the school?
  • Event refreshments and bars. Whether it’s a concert, performance, or school celebration, we’re there serving drinks and snacks with a smile.
  • Quiz. Our flagship annual event that’s become a Haybridge tradition. Think fierce competition, great laughs, and serious fundraising all rolled into one fantastic evening.

Every pound we raise goes directly back into school equipment and resources that benefit all our students.

Why Join the PTFA?

You don’t need to be a superhero. Just someone who can spare a bit of time and wants to contribute to our school community. Here’s what involvement looks like:

  • Pop along to our meetings and have your say on what we do next
  • Help organise events (we promise it’s more fun than it sounds!)
  • Lend a hand on event nights, serving drinks, selling raffle tickets, or helping with setup and teardown
  • Support our events behind the scenes or by simply showing up
  • Know a company that might offer match funding? Brilliant, you could help us tap into that!
  • Good at sourcing prizes or hunting down bargains? We need you!

The commitment is flexible. Come to every meeting or just volunteer when you can – every bit of help genuinely makes a difference.

Who Can Join?

Everyone! Whether you’re a parent, carer, member of staff, or even a Sixth Form Officer, you’re welcome. No experience necessary, no minimum commitment required.

We elect a Committee at our AGM each autumn, but you absolutely don’t need to be on the Committee to get involved. Just turn up to a meeting, see what we’re about, and decide how much you’d like to contribute.

Current Chair: Kay Ostle

Can’t Commit Time? You Can Still Help

Even if your schedule’s rammed, you can support us every time you shop online, without spending an extra penny.

  • Sign up to EasyFundraising and shop through their site with thousands of retailers. Everything costs exactly the same, but the retailer donates to Haybridge automatically. It’s that simple.
  • Does your employer offer match funding? Many companies will match charitable donations or fundraising. If yours does, contact the PTFA as below. This could be a game-changer for our funding.
